It's now 2025 and we've done it again, with our las offering for the predictable future. Fermented for 15 months and slow-cooked for many hours, we bring you a new and unique sacrifice to the powers of passing time.

The limited edition offering shares a basic recipe of our Special Edition Hot Earth, but with the surprising character that comes with age. Fresh and fermented chiles, San Juan Sea Salt are slightly caramelized with organic brown sugar for a balanced, spicy, and versatile hot sauce. This is a special product made with love and time from us to you.
Ingredient Focus: Balance, Caramel, Heat, Meaty Taco Sauce
The year-long fermentation adds a slightly bitter, tannic note and the 10 hours of cooking result in a darker, sweeter heat. It's perfect on cold noodles, tacos al pastor, or bbqed anything.

We will always choose to support sustainability and human rights whenever possible. Our peppers come from small, local farms and our salt is harvested from the deep waters surrounding the San Juan Islands (sanjuanislandseasalt.com). Our shipping materials are recycled from a local comic shop (shop.thecomicsplace.com). We naturally ferment our sauces for at least 6 weeks and every bottle of our small-batch products are filled, sealed, packed, and shipped by hand HOSA is made by and for people who care about the impact that even small purchases can have on their own locale as well as the environment at large.
